Hi.......I'm LuLu,
Owner of a little sweet shop called
LULU'S SWEET EXPECTATIONS, in Port St. Joe, Florida. "LULU'S" is an old fashioned candy/bakery/ice cream/coffee shop.
After more than 20 years of working in various accounting positions, I took a leap of faith and left my day-job to start my own business doing what I always loved...making homemade candies and sweets.
I opened "LULU'S SWEET EXPECTATIONS" on November 29, 2005, in the Port City Shopping Center.
A few things I have at LULU'S SWEET EXPECTATIONS: 20+ Flavors of FUDGE made right in my store, a GOURMET ESPRESSO-BASED COFFEE BAR, HAND-DIPPED ICE CREAM, FROZEN FRUIT SMOOTHIES, Hundreds of varieties of BULK CANDY, my own hand made chocolates including "BARNICLES" (my version of the giant pecan "TURTLE" candies....also made with peanuts and cashews...then topped with my fudge...YUMMY!!!), New Orlean's style PECAN PRALINES (plain and chocolate), FRESH BAKED GOODIES, including WEDDING CAKES and All OCCASION CAKES (Be sure to check out the pictures of my wedding cakes while you are here).
